About Me
0 to 1 and beyond.

In 2010 I began my journey into web development, creating my first website for a solar startup. I had originally started learning C++ but after I saw how easy it was to build pages in the browser with HTML and CSS I pivoted to web development. After months of studying books and YouTube videos, I used my newfound skills to build websites for a couple of small businesses and eventually got a full-time job maintaining WordPress sites.
Since then I've worked for multiple agencies, a webinar software company, AT&T and some smaller tech startups. In 2018 I quit my W2 job to help a couple of founders launch their startups. I used this time to hone my skills and find out where I could make the biggest impact. I had a vision for something greater than anything I could accomplish at any agency or as an employee - working directly with founders to bring their vision to life and change the world (or at least a small part of the world).
When I'm not helping new business owners launch and grow their software products, I'm working on my own software products. One of those products is Varcaliber.com, a time tracking and invoicing app for professionals which I have used in my own business since 2022. In my spare time I like to read fiction, listen to video essays and take walks.
